Not far into France this time: the Somme to be precise. Rented ‘The Poppies House’ a gite, as a base to work from. If you’re ever in that region I can highly recommend it. Yves and Francois are the most delightful and charming hosts and the house is the most beautifully appointed gite I have been privileged to stay in. This stay gave me the opportunity to visit Amiens once more.
